If encouraging people to come together to create strong, friendly, active and resilient communities is something that interests you, then there’s lots of ways in which you can get involved.

Join or start a Scheme

Under the Our Watches section of this site, you’ll find information about the different Community Watch schemes that fall under the DaCCWA umbrella. These include Neighbourhood Watch schemes for local areas as well as schemes that provide support and crime protection advice for people who share a similar lifestyle or hobby (ie Farm Watch or Boat Watch). 

If you'd like to set up a new Neighbourhood Watch scheme for your community, complete an Application Form and send it to us so we can help to get you started. We’re happy to talk you through the steps so use the Contact Form or give us a call. We can also put you in touch with your nearest scheme if you'd just like to join an existing group.

Support DaCCWA

As a not-for-profit organisation, everything we do for our scheme members has to be covered by funds we raise either by donations and support we receive from partners including the OPCC, or through the sale of our Watch signs and other secure by design safety products.

However, we’re also very keen to partner with other like-minded organisations who share the same ethos as us about encouraging our communities to be stronger and more resilient. This could be in the form of sponsorship, a partner-linked project with a business or organisation or through a personal contribution or fundraising activity. We’d love to hear any ideas you have and happy to help create something that works to hit your objectives as well as our own.
