Our mission
Our mission is to bring people together to create strong, friendly, active and resilient communities where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen.
In so doing, we will:
- promote good citizenship, community safety and greater public participation in the prevention and detection of crime. In particular, supporting those who may feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live.
- provide the structure and resources to inspire stronger, friendlier and more resilient communities where people come together with a shared goal, increasing their collaborative engagement which in turn improves their social atmosphere and community spirit.
- enable more effective liaison between the community and the Police.
